Sustainability Student Participates in Blackstone LaunchPad Innovation Sprint

This weekend, I participated in the Blackstone LaunchPad Innovation Sprint alongside my incredible friends Mayesha Fahmida (CCNY), Nayeli (John Jay), Darlyn Pacheco (Queensborough CC), and Kay Jesly (Borough of Manhattan CC). Blackstone Launchpad provided three intriguing tasks for us. Choosing from the three challenges, I opted to collaborate with the L’Oreal team.

We conducted a CUNY-wide Innovation Sprint Case Study on Biolage Marketing Strategy. We concentrated on how Biolage might effectively widen its user base to encompass a broader spectrum of people while also increasing knowledge and comprehension of its universal formulations. After reviewing the data, we proposed some suggestions to help users learn more about the product and its effectiveness.

Our strategy entails working with a variety of influencers on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram to market our products. On Instagram, we’ll engage with our audience by asking questions and sharing instructional content about hair care. In addition, we will offer promotions to attract new clients and increase brand visibility. Our strategy also includes incorporating a QR code into our items that contains all important information. This QR code allows customers to easily access specific product information, improving their entire experience and understanding of our brand. 

After the three-day program, I am delighted to say that our proposal for L’Oreal obtained second place in the Blackstone Technology and Innovation program!
